This is an amazing, stunning 2 piece serving bowl and platter set. This set has been part of our collection for many years. It was presented as a gift to us in the 1980's. We never used it. The set is in excellent condition.
Wild and crazy abstract pattern on the underside of each piece. Very modern and whimsical motif. I have tried at length to come up with the name of the pattern. We have come to the conclusion this is fine studio art glass. Handmade and quite possibly one of a kind.
The platter is 14 1/4". Weight: 4 lbs. 5 oz. It features 10 different shapes and patterns on the underside of the piece. Please see the photos.
The bowl is 13" wide with a 9 1/2" opening. 3" Lip and 3" tall. Weight: 4 lbs. 13 oz. It features 11 different shapes as well.
This is a gorgeous set, tremendous statement piece. Perfect for entertaining.
