| The Larson Electronics EPH-FH-PND-T3B-3KW-208V.3P Hazardous Location Fan provides active heating in hazardous locations and cold-temperature work sites. This 3,000-watt forced fan heater is compatible with 208V three phase and features an airflow rate of 580 CFM (24` air throw). Operators can mount the hazardous location fan on ceilings and overhead structures (1/2" cut/threaded pipe not included). The EPH-FH-PND-T3B-3KW-208V.3P is suitable for maintaining adequate temperatures in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 work sites. This 3,000-watt fan forced heater operates on 208V three phase with 24V control voltage. The 9.8-amp rated unit supports an airflow rate of 580 CFM, capable of throwing air as far as 24 feet. This T3A temperature-rated fan features guard shields to protect internal, moving parts. This hazardous location fan forced heater is constructed of 14 gauge steel and aluminum with stainless steel/aluminum pressure relief valves. The unit is rated for 6,000 cycles of service. Versatile louvers allow operators to control the direction of air leaving the fan in real-time. For protection from freeze damage (up to -45° C), the unit utilizes a Ethylene Glycol to water mixture as a heat transfer fluid inside the heater core. Mounting: The EPH-FH-PND-T3B-3KW-208V.3P is designed for pendant or ceiling mount configurations. The mounting component measures 6.75" x 6.75" x 3.75" and weighs 5 lbs. To complete the mounting installation, a customer-provided 1/2" cut/threaded pipe is required (not included). To mount the unit, operators must secure the fan to the roof or overhead structure using the customer-provided threaded pipe, which is supported by a mounting bracket, on both sides of the heater. For slanted or sloped ceilings, one of the supporting, customer-provided pipe components can be cut for a well-balanced installation. The recommended mounting height for this hazardous location unit is 8 feet.
